Guild Wars Music Video - Any Other World
Hello! I recently made a Guild Wars music video, and was wondering,
if I may get some critisism, and hopefuly some tips for the future.
This IS my first video though, so dont tear me apart.

Very nice clip. Lovely portrayal of Ascalon and common folk. Quite a few great little scenes (like taking a breather before the bridge, or doing a jig to the piano).
This is probably your first clip, so you probably could implement some changes.
Problematic stuff:
- screen size - reencode the movie to fit the screen size
- too many cuts - a viewer spends a lot of time watching black background, around 3:15 you have an exceptionally long pause
- repetitive scenes drive a point home, too many repetitions make the viewer feel treated an 8-year-old
Possible improvements:
- if one's leaving something behind him, there should be at least a glimpse of a new world - two or three scenes are not necessarily sufficient
- you put in a few scenes you could develop further - dying friend, drinking water, devourer attacking from behind during family scene
Regards,
Ruemere

It seemed poorly put together, almost like a rush job.
1) Spend more time, a pretty video is a pretty video. So look around for exotic spots and make sure you clear the area of foes.
2) ALWAYS, I mean ALWAYS have 2 good shots while recording. Doing that helps way more than you think.
3) There is a button combo that will make the interface disappear (ctrl+h?) so you don't have to cut the edges.
4) Construct the video with the song, if the song gets up beat, have an up beat shot. Simple.
And.... That's it!

Doesn't flow together, and showing the UI is bad while doing a music video, too many stops.
